American Muscle Series 01 – 1967 Shelby GT500

Shelby GT500 collectible car - Good Smile Racing

When I hear about muscle cars, I immediately think of Vin Diesel from his Fast and the Furious films. ^^; But when it’s something about a particular muscle car like the GT500, Nicholas Cage and his precious Eleanor come into mind. (Gomen, my knowledge about race cars is very limited to Fast and the Furious films with all the bad acting, Gone in 60 seconds and Initial D. Lol.) Well, I guess car enthusiasts and maybe even the fans of Nicholas Cage and Vin Diesel will be excited to see this beautifully crafted American Muscle Series mini cars from Good Smile Racing.

This 1967 Shelby GT500 is from the GSR American Muscle Series 01.

The Shelby GT500 is a special Mustang produced by Shelby America and Carroll Shelby himself – a man who has had a huge impact on automotive racing and design over his lifetime. This mini-car is a model of the Road Going GT that obtained victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race – a higher grade version of the GT500 that was built between the official GT350 and GT500 models.

This dark blue 1/43 digitally planned scale miniature car with ABS/Resin body and die-cast chassis will be available in November for ¥6,800. (Stand is included.)

For now, I guess we have to wait for an announcement from Good Smile Racing but Tokimeki Mall (http://tokimekimall.jp/NASApp/prd_detail_info2/1/20090793582/) and Circle K Sunkus stores used to accept pre-orders.

          Hi Winter-lee hamelin.

Apologies for the late reply. This was released in November of 2009 most online shops probably do not sell this anymore. You could perhaps try eBay?
