The Dark Knight Rises: 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure
I have always been amazed by the craftsmanship of Hot Toys figures and their The Dark Knight Rises collection is definitely something to look forward to. According to Hot Toys, this is their most movie-accurate 1/6th scale Batman. Highly-detailed complete with his classic facial expressions and weapons, this figure has 32 points of articulation and has a specially made fabric costume with armor based on the design from the movie.
TDKR Batman has the Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS) to make the eyes realistic. Hot Toys’ Batman from the Dark Knight series back in 2009 also has this but when comparing the head sculpt, I think TDKR Batman looks a lot better, see the facial lines and skin texture? With a little more effort on the hair, it sure can pass off as a Christian Bale photo from the movie.
This Batman comes with an adapter to connect Batman to the very cool Batpod.
The hovercraft “The Bat” is another nice add-on.

It sure piqued my curiosity that I searched for more photos of their upcoming Catwoman figure.
Catwoman makes Batpod look a thousand times cooler, yes?
If they could make some improvements on the hair (perhaps a little more softness on Catwoman’s and it’s perfect) and if they can find a way to make those joints, especially in the bare neck area and the arms a little less obvious, then they’re just strikingly real. Nevertheless, Hot Toys did a really fantastic job with their figures from TDKR series. I’m sure they have a lot more surprises up their sleeves so I’ll be on the look out for that.

Looks really nice, Hot Toys are very spot on with their detailed figures and this is no exception. haha Christian Bale as figure is also quite handsome and cool ^^
Well, the price is on a high level as well.
Yeah, the amount of detail they put into their pieces is ridiculous, right?
These always look so great and lifelike, but the prices are just nuts. I suppose it makes sense though with the high quality.
I’m not sure if they have a limited production size or something and of course the their figs are definitely top quality so yeah, I guess the price makes sense. ^^
Omg, this is so amazing. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, I’m still amazed by how detailed the figures are and how real they resemble the actual person. It’s almost scary.

The catwoman!! Look so real and nice from the promo pic. Not a fan of guy figurine.. but that catwoman sure look wonderful! :D
