Senjougahara Hitagi by Good Smile Company

Bakemonogatari Senjougahara Hitagi by Good Smile

Can’t get enough of the beautiful tsundere Senjougahara Hitagi? Well here she is again in 1/8 scale this time by Good Smile Company.

If you’re in Tokyo this weekend then you’re in luck! You’ll see Senjougahara as well as many more amazing figures displayed at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2010 held in Odaiba’s Big Sight convention center. I’m sure a lot of websites will be posting more of anime figs featured during the event so for now I’ve decided to put the spotlight first on Senjougahara.

Yesterday, reservations for Kotobukiya’s version of Senjougahara opened. That same day, Good Smile’s Senjougahara went on display at the Tokyo Anime Fair (TAF).

I guess Good Smile’s version looks more dynamic and bold because of the addition of falling stationery. Her facial expression which is almost like a soft glare adds charm and temper. The pose also gives a better perspective of Senjougahara’s personality.

On this angle though, I’m not quite sure if I like her face that much. She’s still pretty all right, but she’s prettier when you look at her from the backside when she’s glancing over her shoulder.

So which fig are you getting? Kotobukiya or Good Smile’s? Both? ^^

I can’t help but notice the sheer size of the orange handled scissors, not to mention the staplers. Eh I kinda like the Kotobukiya face better, but not really interested in either one , even though I did like her character.

  6. Pretty sexy. I like all school utensils falling out ^^. Very tempting!

I think this version looks great, but that face doesn’t look as nice as Koto’s version. I’m actually one of the rare people who prefer Koto’s version right now. Of course, I still want Alter to do one up. Perhaps Alter can make one of her in her street clothes:

If Alter did it, I’d totally buy it.

  8. Aka says:

Definitely getting Good Smile Company’s. I’m not a huge fan of Kotobukiya, and while theirs is acceptable looking, this one is so much more unique and interesting.

I really like the Senjougahara Hitagi figure. She’s beautiful and I love the detail they put into the things falling out of her skirt. Very pretty. ^ ^

    She’s great!

And I think I will take GSC. Looks awesome!

  11. softz says:

Will she look nice from the front view? From photos, I only see the side views. I don’t feel comfortable with the eyes on her face. Gotta see more of her.

Looks like GSC tsundere is taking the lead here. ^^

  13. Otakus says:

hey, in that last picture, is that Nadeko in the back?

      1. Otakus says:

would it be safe to assume that gsc is also making a Nadeko, since they’re in the same showcase?

  14. xine says:

I guess so. Haven’t seen a lot of Nadeko pics but you may want to check this out:

    Thanks for dropping by. ^^
