Raise your hands if you like steampunk!

Pullip Eos steampunk

So I was searching for better photos of Snow Miku Pullip, then I stumbled upon this beautiful mechanically winged creature.

Her name is Eos and she is — sold out. Not that I’m going to buy her anytime soon but I still felt bad that she’s sold out. If you are a BJD collector, I’m sure you’re familiar with Pullip, if not, then here’s Mr. Wiki to the rescue.

Pullip is a collectible fashion doll created by Cheonsang Cheonha of South Korea in 2003. Pullip has an oversized head on a jointed plastic body, with eyes that can change positions and wink. Pullip was first marketed by Jun Planning of Japan, but since early 2009, it has been marketed by Groove of Korea. Pullip (풀잎) means ‘blade of grass/leaf’ in Korean.

Pullip Eos steampunk

Isn’t Eos adorable? And steampunk is such a cool combination of style and function which is why I like it so much. If ever I’ll get a doll, a steampunk costume will definitely be a part of his/her wardrobe.

    I think she looks frighteningly scary and cool at the same time.

      I guess with her proportions and her eyes, maybe it will take a little getting used to for some. ^^

    Yeah I like the steampunk look

    1. xine says:

      An owl baby? Is it because of her eyes? Haha.
      Yay for steampunk! ^^

      She is, isn’t she? ^^

  5. I like steampunk! I’m not a big fan of Pullip dolls but I gotta admit this one is pretty cool. Based on the looks of her outfit, she also probably cost a small fortunate when she was in stock ^^;
    I wonder if there are steampunk outfits for DDs? That might interest me ;)

      I’d love to see your daughters in steampunk outfits! I’m sure they’d look gorgeous.
